Introduction: The Yangtze River is the longest river in Asia and China, and the third-longest in the world, after the Nile in Africa and The Amazon in South America. The river is about 6,300 km long and flows from its source in Qinghai Province, eastwards into the East China Sea at Shanghai. It has traditionally been considered a dividing line between North and South China, although geographers consider the Qinling-Huai River line to be the official line of geographical division. As the largest river in the region, the Yangtze is historically, culturally, and economically important to China.

Uses
1)With the accomplishment of hydropower station of Sanxia, the hydroelectric resources will develop and utilize effectively in the Yangtze River.
2)It can irrigate farmland, basically all the farm near the river that make paddy can reap 2 to 3 time in a year.

Problem
1)Flood is a big problem with Yangtze River. Because almost every 10year will have a big flood in the Yangtze River. Up till now for flood china louse about a hundred billion Yuan and in 1931, Wu Han (a city near the Yangtze River) has a very big flood and causes so many people died from that flood
